Subdivision Plat
Description: The Village of Germantown has adopted an ordinance to regulate and control the division and development of land in order to promote the public health, safety, morals, prosperity, aesthetics and general welfare of the Village.

Initiation: An applicant or agent may submit an application for a subdivision. The owner of the subject property must acknowledge the application by signing the application form.

Decision-maker(s): The Plan Commission makes a recommendation on the application to the Village Board, which makes the final decision.

Review process: For information on the review and approval process for subdivision plats, please contact the Village of Germantown Community Development Department Planning and Zoning at 262-250-4735.

Application fee:
  • 10 lots or fewer: $4,575
  • 11-25 lots: $5,600
  • 26-50 lots: $6,625
  • 51 lots or more: $7,650
